In 1996, NetDay developed the NetDay Wiring Kit in an effort to help schools acquire the resources necessary to bring the Internet into the classroom. Since 1996, NetDay has regotiated wiring kit prices so that any school will be able to afford to begin the wiring process.

The NetDay kit and the NetDay plenum kit each contain enough materials to install two connections each in six classrooms and to wire them to a central point.
